    Custom solutions

Nexans autoelectric meets the challenges for the future head-on. Day in, day out, our highly specialised teams are working on future mobility. They are developing systems and components for cars with less weight, and thus with lower CO2 emissions, but at the same time with more comfort. Here at Nexans autoelectric we see commitment, ambition and experience as the means of achieving our aims of sophisticated products, shorter development lead-times and a healthy profit.

Nexans autoelectric has a proven track record as a competent and reliable development and system supplier for customers in the automotive industry. Our employees are challenged to play a key part in that. Their specialist knowledge and state-of-the-art technologies go into making innovative, world-leading products.

    Modern technologies at work
Nexans autoelectric conducts virtual and actual experiments to shorten the development lead-times and optimise functionality, quality and use of materials. For instance, we carry out vibration simulations and temperature measurements, and we analyse the behaviour of complete systems under maximum loads in joint tests with our customers.

Rapid prototyping enables Nexans autoelectric to examine design concepts and quickly display them in graphic form. Various methods are used in accordance to requirements, such as thin layer technique or laser sintering.

At Nexans autoelectric, foaming of wire harnesses has superseded conventional coatings such as corrugated pipes and hoses. The wire harness is thus effectively protected from thermal and mechanical stresses and is stable in the installation in the vehicles under all conditions.
